Mission in Israel-Palestine…
The Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem This Diocese includes Episcopal churches in Israel, Palestine, Jordon, Syria, and Lebanon. It also includes contact information for several missions through the diocese including Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza. This was the site designated to receive the offering from the 2009 Annual Council of the Diocese of Virginia.
St. George’s College, Jerusalem St. George’s is a guest house and an experierential learning center (not an academic institution). They are located only a few blocks from the Old City in the same close as the Episcopal cathedral in Jerusalem. They host pilgrims from around the world and also run Kids4Peace, an education-for-peace program that involves Palestinian and Israeli children in dialogue and exchanges.

One of the ways we can be most helpful in bringing a just peace to Israel-Palestine is by encouraging our lawmakers to support policies that are both pro-Israel and pro-Palestine. As we develop the Project, we will be exploring more ways we can act from home to support peace in this region.
